A joy to wash with and compostable, too!

This sponge smells and feels so much better than the viscose ones, and my compost loves it, too! I'm very happy that I found this natural sponge here.

Decent alternative to other products

The thing with sponges is, that indeed, you are not meant to use them longer than two weeks – be it plastic or natural sponges. My colleague did some research into this and the amount of bacteria they may carry after a certain period of time. It was sad news as I had been using my sponges and judging them by smell and looks rather than going by time...

I have tried washable alternatives, as these still have to go into the bin or as the description says they have to be composted. Has anyone here ever tried that? Even for natural ingredients such as veggies composting does take time... I am always a bit sceptical of these things.

Anyway these fit the bill of being an ecofriendlier version to microplastics (if its true) and they do last. Once I don't use them for dishes they get a second life as low-level cleaning sponges i.e. for paint until they have done the job.

Would recommend

A nice alternative to plastic, had lasted three months so far with less frequent use as we have a dishwasher. Would recommend for those looking to reduce the plastic they consume.

Prima!

Very satisfied with this product

I am very happy with this product. Since tring to make plastic free choices in my life I could not replace our regular sponge. I have tried the loofa however I don't have a good grasp on it when washing and the dishwasher brush am not getting used to it either therefor it was hard to find some other alternative. However this sponge is really great, just like a regular sponge. I'm very happy to have found it and I would recommend it!
