These socks are made with care using bamboo and polyester post-consumer recycled PET bottles, processed with the ReNEW recycling technology. Even though we try to avoid any plastic materials in the products we offer, we did make the conscious choice to stock these socks because it reuses the already available plastic waste and recycles it which consumes fewer resources (water, energy, etc.) than the production of virgin polyester from crude oil and of course, and helps to reduce the amount of plastic waste.
The bamboo fibers are OEKO-TEX 100 certified, which means that the socks are free from harmful chemicals and are completely safe to use. And bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, providing the same volume as cotton with only 10% of the land area.
